Diary of a Mad Musician
There is news, lots of it. So much, I haven't even sent you part two of last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, nor written part three. Who knows if I will at this point in time? I think I'll start from the future and go backwards. I often think that way, and have been called crazy as a loon more than once. On May 16, when I get back home to Austin, I will become an official "Austin Lounge Lizard."

As soon as find the big magazine article, I'll post it. In the meantime, Belfast was fantastic, Brighton Beach is bright, warm , sunny, busy, another Fringe Festival. I'm working too many shows to write but I've been taking photos and have stories. Boy, do I have stories.
|
Boy, do I have stories to tell. I am writing them, little by little. Costa Rica was fantastic. I'll be sending you four photos of me holding a howler monkey. She took a special liking to me. RING TONES! http://www.groupietunes.com/artists/DarcieDeaville I have noticed, traveling to several countries is that most everyone has narrowed their ring tone choices down to two: Some dumb computer melody, or, back to the old-fashioned telephone ring. Of course, this is just my opinion, but having something truly musical would not only add to nicer sounds in our overcrowded sonic world, but you would know it was YOUR phone ringing! You can listen before you buy. It's $2.49. It's worth a try, for that, isn't it? I have no idea yet how this all works in cyber world, and I know there are other competitors with the same choices, but this one came up as the most user friendly.

Here's my first (and I expect last) blonde story. On another note, one of the things I did while in Edinburgh last summer, was play at a union rally. Here's a link with the story and a photo of us, the "Woodysez crew...

125 shows in 82 days, reaching 40,000 students in close to 60 towns and cities. I’m sure I will remember more stories along the way, to tell, or write. But right now, I’m home! I’ve moved into the next season, and I’d like to give you a brief summary.

The eggs here are fantastic. I guess that's why they'll serve them on just about anything. OK, not dessert. But pizza?
