Darcie has returned from playing 125 shows in 82 days, visiting 60 cities in Austria, Italy, and the Czech Republic, reaching 40,000 students. "This Land is Your Land ", a play developed for the schools to educate people about Woody Guthrie and the depression years in the US, was considered by many to be the most popular show in Vienna's English Theatre's history. Darcie and her friends were asked to play command performances at the American Embassies in Vienna and Prague.

Darcie’s theatre work started back in 1979 at the Manitoba Theatre Centre. She composed and played all the music in a Joanna Glass piece called “Artichoke.”
